Since 1994, the Walker Art Center has been the innovative leader in teen programming, providing cultural institutions around the world with a successful model for engaging teenagers. The mission of Teen Programs is to connect teenagers to contemporary art and artists. $60,000?

I was once told that after you make $60,000 a year your level of happiness goes up. Now I don’t make $60,000 a year … but I had a hard time agreeing with this. I also was recently shopping at the Wedge and I brought my own bags when I was checking out they informed me that if you bring your own bags you can

1. get money off your purchase

or

2. Donate that saved money to the community garden

I decided to donate to the community garden and as I was walking home I couldn’t help but thinking about someone being able to plant seeds that my possible contribution helped. Which I thought was really interesting when I stumbled across an article today about how people who donate or buy gifts for others are happier.
