Blu and David Ellis recently collaborated to create “COMBO“, an time-lapse animation shot in old Italian courtyard. It was created during Italy’s “Fame Festival,” which hosts and finances artists for several weeks. Check it out below!

On Friday night, the Perpich Center for Arts Education premired three short films of next generation young filmmakers. The films, made by the Cinema Savages, Full Circle, and Healing the Cycle, showcased the work of young native american film makers in the community. On Thursday September 17th, Paul Chan graced WACTAC with his outgoing and opinionated presence. He immediately captured our attention with his dulcet voice, from which came his vibrant willingness to jump into conversation with our rowdy group. Yesterday, Rob Perez, writer of 40 Days and 40 Nights, & co-writer and director of the upcoming movie, Nobody, came to the Perpich Arts High School to talk to the media, theater and literary art students about directing, acting and screenwriting. The talk included sneak peeks of the movie and insightful advice. He talked about embracing interests and the inevitability of making mistakes, but working through flaws and obstacles.
