Grown & Sexy: WACTAC Alumni Exhibition

Grown & Sexy: a term used to describe people who has reached a point in their lives where playing games and immaturity is behind them and they have grown up and are ready to take on bigger and better things

Over its 13 year history, more than 100 young artists have been a part of Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC) . Grown & Sexy will be the first exhibition to celebrate the art of WACTAC Alumni. Ranging from painting and sculpture to site specific installation, the exhibition highlights the wide range of personalities and perspectives that have made WACTAC one of the liveliest parts of the Walker Art Center. Join us on Wednesday, December 23 from 7-10 pm for the Closing Party featuring musical performances by the Vignettes, Chantz Erolin, and General Monk.

The Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC) is a group of 12 high school students that create opportunties for young artists to connect to contemporary art and artists.
