Artist: Jessa zwack School: Buffalo high School Description: “We were told to do a self-portrait, without using faces. But it also had to describe who we are. I used the tree because I love nature and I love branching out to others. I used fish because fish are very free-spirited, and so am I. The one red fish is there because it is different and I am very different and unique. They are swimming around the tree because I am stubborn, and the tree is blocking their paths. But they are still able to find a way around.” March Made Fresh [...]

A couple weeks ago WACTAC and a couple of students from the Perpich Center for Arts Education’s media program had the pleasure of getting together with illustrator/animator Daniel Barrow.
