Mexican rock band La Korneta, comes to St.Paul to give three free concerts. The group is coming as part of a cultural tour and exhange, and have been taking classes at McNally Smith for the past week. Check out the concert schedule below and video here. Brought to you by McNally Smith, The Consulate of México in Saint Paul, Minnesota and Saint Paul/Manzanillo Sister Cities Organization.

WAC Attack: Imagined Worlds, with Jenny Schmid & MAW Thursday, January 20th Cargill Lounge 5-8pm Free WAC Attack is a new monthly art related activity for teens and the general public at the Walker presented as part of Target Free Thursday Night. The Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC) create a one night program and invite artists to conduct activities that align themselves with current Walker programming in the galleries, cinema and theater.

Audio Perm

Audio Perm is a local hip-hop collective of producers that collab with emcees and djs. Most of the group and affiliated acts are young but despite their age they are defiantly making moves. They organize multiple events a month, and have performed with toki wright, mike mictlan of doomtree, at soundest and as far as Duluth. The producers; Taylor Madrigal, Cory Grindberg, and Julian Fairbanks have been making music together for the last two years.
