			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I make a point of not leaving my house unless absolutely necessary (see: <em><strong><a href="http://www.buckstars.co.uk/images/old-lady-smoking-cigar.jpg">reasons</a></strong></em>).</p>
<p>Up until moments ago, I&#8217;d avoid going to places I thought where everyone stretched their ego to the limits like a spandex jumpsuit from American Apparel, but recently I&#8217;ve had those few helping hands pull me out from under the covers and remove the worn and overplayed discs of Roseanne from out of my dvd player to bring me out into the real world (see below)</p>

<p>One project is being organized by artist <a href="http://www.shaze.info" target="_blank"><strong>Sharon Hayes</strong></a>. Hayes is asking for 100 volunteer performers to recite (as a chorus) a 10-15 minute text about love, politics, gay power, and gay liberation (written by Hayes) over a period of approximately two hours. The performance will take place in a public space in proximity to the Convention.</p>

<p>are befuddled by new fashions. That whole uproar over sagging pants totally lost me. I just saw boys growing their hair out, riding skateboards, sagging, and starting to look <em>fine</em>. It just seemed like another indicator of adolescent rebellion, not an indicator of the health of the stock market, as The New York Times Bill Cunningham (known for those street style spreads that embarrass people wearing the same thing) postulates. (If thats true Bill, why did the trend start in the prosperous 90s?)</p>
<p>Check out the clip, and revel in the feeling of cool when you think, this guy just doesn&#8217;t get it. Plus, you can pick up on some pretty fly fashions at the same time (two belts? glittery goth/street belts? boxer briefs?)</p>
